Fun, friendly dance classes for children & adults — 2 venues across Medway, 14 weekly sessions. Beginners to national finalists, all welcome since 1999.
It all started in 1999 with two Freestyle classes and a small hall in Medway. Twenty-seven years later, ASD Dance runs 14 weekly sessions across two venues in every genre — and pupils are dancing on the country's most demanding stages.
We're a friendly and welcoming school that takes pupils from age 2.5 through adult. Whether you're after your first steps on a dance floor, your first IDTA medal, or your first national podium — you'll find both the warmth and the ambition here.
Many of the pupils who trained with us as children now bring their own sons and daughters to class. That's not just loyalty — it's a quarter century of trust, built one performance at a time.
Whether you're bringing a toddler to their first class or stepping onto a dance floor for the first time at 40 — there's a place for you here. Warm, friendly teaching. Real results.
And if you're thinking "it's too late to start" — our adult classes say otherwise.
Competition pathways and national finals are open to every age — from 4 years old to adults.
Six disciplines, one consistent standard. From beginner foundations through to national competition level — with IDTA medals and scholarship pathways built in.
Every credential below was earned by an ASD pupil on merit — through audition, competition placement, or national selection.
"Fun, friendly dance school. My daughter has come on so far since changing to ASD Dance. She loves the teachers and classes and comes home with a huge smile on her face every week. She cannot wait to show me what she has learnt every lesson."
"ASD is a very welcoming school. It has helped to provide my daughter with an inclusive environment that has helped her develop and build her confidence. She has made lots of friends since being there and loves being on stage in the competitions and shows."
"As an adult it was hard to get back into dance, but ASD were patient and welcoming. They helped to push me enough to help me feel young again and like I had never stopped dancing."
"ASD Dance is like a big family and I absolutely love how friendly it is. I look forward to my class every Tuesday. I was an adult beginner who had never danced before but I now have the bug thanks to Debbie and her team. I love it — I wish I'd started years ago!"
"Amazing dance school, so friendly, welcoming and inclusive in every way."
