Welcome to The Anderson School of Dance
... Specialising in Freestyle Dance & Latino Fusion Fitness
The Anderson School of Dance has been established for over 13 years specialising in Freestyle Dance and more recently Latino Fusion Fitness.
Freestyle Dance is an artistic dance style incorporating moves from many different aspects of dance. Depending on the rhythm of the music we adapt our moves accordingly. We could include, for example, Latin American styles, Salsa, Street, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Jazz, Line Dancing, Bollywood and even Tap!!
Fun Dance & Popularity
Over the years we have had many pupils come through our doors. Some of these have joined just for the fun side and dance as a hobby, while others have stayed here at the school for years and then gone onto college / university to study dance further.
The Anderson School of Dance now has established two more venues at Parkwood Junior School, Rainham and White Road Community Centre, Chatham to add to the flagship school at the Hook Meadow Hall, Walderslade, Chatham.
Debbie aims to provide a fun and friendly atmosphere where pupils of all ages can come along, dance and most of all, enjoy themselves. At The Anderson School of Dance we strive to get the best out of our current pupils and look forward to welcoming new members into the school.

Stage Shows & Medals
Over the past years we have held 5 major shows at The Central Theatre in Chatham, Kent and numerous other shows and events, including a sponsored dance raising over £3000 for Help for Heroes in May 2009. Each Christmas we put on a Talent Show where all the pupils choreograph their own routines and compete for annual trophies.
There are opportunities every 6 months for pupils to participate (if they wish) in the IDTA medal tests, where they can achieve various medals and certificates. This enables the pupils to have something to work towards and gives them confidence within themselves.
The shows and medals are not compulsory, it is entirely up to you and your child.
